When you use the Hunt feature, we collect location data to track your expedition route and mark where you find minerals. This data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to make your hunts public.
Photos
When you use the Identify feature, photos you take are sent to our AI service for mineral identification. These photos are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers unless you save them to your collection.
Collection Data
Your mineral collection, including photos, identification results, and notes, is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage. If you choose to share hunts publicly, that data will be uploaded to our servers.
